At the property: Side can be confused with nearby settlements such as Sorgun, Kızılağaç and Kumköy; check that you have selected Side and the full hotel name in the booking. Vehicle traffic around Side's ancient town can be restricted; for properties near the centre of the peninsula the driver may drop you at the vehicle point at the entrance and the last stretch may be on foot. On summer evenings there is congestion at the entrance to the peninsula; if you are arriving or leaving in the evening, stay in touch with the driver.
Return transfer: If you are leaving from inside the old town, ask reception in advance where the car will wait; the walk with luggage varies by property. For the return, check on your ticket which terminal you fly from (Terminal 1, Terminal 2 or domestic) and agree the pick-up time accordingly; the terminals are separate, so going to the wrong one costs time. On the morning of the pick-up, settle checkout beforehand, keep your luggage ready and make sure the phone number on your booking is switched on.
