At the property: İstiklal Avenue is a pedestrian zone closed to vehicles; hotels near it are approached from side streets or from surrounding roads such as Tarlabaşı and Sıraselviler. That is why it matters which street your hotel entrance is on. In the evening and at weekends the roads around Taksim are busy; choosing a pick-up or drop-off point on a side street away from the crowding saves time. Many hotels in Beyoğlu are on narrow, sloping, one-way streets, and the driver may drop you at the nearest corner the car can reach rather than at the hotel door.
